Health & Safety Statement

Statement of Intent

It is our policy that we will prevent accidents and incidents as far as is reasonably

practicable.

We will do this by managing the health and safety risks associated with all elements of the Tappin’ in projects undertaken.

We will provide an induction to all participants and staff, we will outline the risks identified in risk assessments and where practicable and appropriate we will provide training to staff, volunteers and visitors.

We will consult with our staff and volunteers on matters affecting their Health and Safety

when applicable

We will provide and maintain equipment where appropriate and required.

We will implement emergency procedures, including but not limited to evacuation in case of fire or other such incident as required or deemed appropriate.

We will review this policy on a regular basis or when circumstances merit.

All employees and volunteers will

 Co-operate on all Health and safety matters

 Be responsible for their own health and safety

 Report any concerns to Tappin’ in management

 

Arrangements for Health and Safety

We will

 Complete relevant risks assessment and where reasonably practicable act on the

findings

 Review Risk assessment regularly or when circumstances dictate

 Provide an induction to all participants and staff and where required provide training

 Provide PPE

 Ensure that good housekeeping practices are in place
