The floor is yours and everyone's invited!

The Floor Is Yours transforms an everyday public space into a vibrant, joyful dance floor – and you're invited to join in.

​

Created with local participants, the performance brings together dance, music, DJ culture and real stories about social dancing. Put on a pair of wireless headphones and you'll hear stories and memories alongside music, prompts and choreography that invite you to move.

You can dance, watch, listen or simply gather around the action. There is no right or wrong way to take part, and everyone is welcome, whatever their age, experience or ability.

The Floor Is Yours is a celebration of public space, community and the freedom to move together – turning the places where we live and meet into somewhere unexpected, playful and full of joy.
